almost three weeks has passed with me having the status as jobless. yet nothing seems to be done at home at all.

*looks arnd the messy room*

tsk tsk

there were so many things i had planned for myself to do and now, i think i haven even managed to acheive one task. *looks at the room one more time* sigh.

I started packing my room arnd the start of this week, throwing away stuff that has tortured me for two whole years - files, worksheets, papers, notes...y'know them all. and selecting a few stuff to torture me a little more for the years to come, like textbooks, guidebooks, assessment books etc. Since i hardly ever pack my room, even when its during Spring Cleaning, such packing and cleaning always make me feel like i have closed one more chapter in my life and and about to open another chapter.

well, my mom always says, you will come to a point in time, where you will wonder, what have you done with your life so far? what have you acheived? what have you done that is so meaning that when the day you meet GOD, you can proudly announce to Him all the wonderful things you have created and left behind on this earth? i suppose that is one of the reasons why she has turned very religious over the years, attending prayer groups, meditation, self prayer, church visiting, sunday masses.

To be honest, i cant say i have much to look back and if anyone says 19 years is a lot of time to look back, then, i cant say i have done very much either. I haven been very devoted to any particular religion, or been very involved in any religious gathering. I haven acheived much in neither my human wants or spiritual needs. The only thing, however, i feel satisfied with myself is that I have made it a point to follow my parents to pray for my ancestors when no one does. and since my chapters of life are determined by the major exams i went through, the one other thing i can proudly announce to GOD is that i have completed my A levels and O levels and PSLE, and still i have not decided to commit suicide like some of my other peers. i dunno why i feel that way but probably thats the way it is. even the two acheivements are so pathetic. they are like a suppose-to-be-done, nothing to be proud of things.

my original plan of this blog entry was to type out all the things i want to complete before my so-called other chapter of life begins. i dun even know why i typed or how i managed to type all this stuff out. i suppose, thats why people term me as dramatic ba. dun even know whether that is good or bad. perhaps its neutral. yet again, nothing is neutral. i always think that neutral is for those who doesnt want to voice out their opinions in fear of trouble or anger or those sorta things. C'mon. even water, from Mother Nature isnt neutral - how can we humans be?

People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs.
Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse.
il bet thats how they get these stuff gg.
These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by.
Continue this game by sending it to other people!
therefore, Vanessa was VICTIMISD by GRACE LEE! *WAILS*

Note to Grace: you are lucky i am jobless enough to humour you. hahahaha

1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?
em...i will kill him. aiyo, sound so violent...must be more rationale. wait let me think. i will sit down and talk to him and make sure that i didnt assume something that didnt happen. then if he really did, i will errr....ask him why...then i will kill him. yeap.

*pleased with the "less violent" response*

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?

WORLD PEACE. lol. so cliche. Em, probably that every good and rationale dream can come true?

3. What will your dream wedding be like?
oh! that my best friends must be my bridesmaids even if they are married and uh...one of them must be my wedding host and uh...everyone HE (whomever) and i love must be there - if I dont like the person he loves, i have to compromise and invite as well and vice versa. i think there will definitely be a chinese tradional tea ceremony in the morning. it always happens. but i want a church wedding in the afternoon (cos my mum is a catholic and i think its romantic that for daughters to be walked down the aisle by their fathers) and a westernised yet oriental wedding at night (because i always like the fusion of these two extreme culture)? haha

4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you?
yes. very yes.

5. What is your ideal lover like?
*WHY DID GRACE PUT ME THROUGH THIS?* okie fine. is i choose to put myself through all this. uh...everything i look for. haha. that is so precise.

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?

Being loved by someone and loving back that same someone.

7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you really love?
i will wait until the day where someone else i have good feelings for tell me he loves me. i think.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
wait for him to break up? hahaha. uh...cry ba. then wait for him to break up. OMG...so mean. i dun like this qn. reveals the devil in me. muahahaha. no la. in the first place, if he is already attached, i wouldnt like him. so no answer.

9. Is being tagged fun?
yea sure! definitely =) *cross finger behind back*

10. How do you see yourself in ten years' time?
i will be 29 by den hor? on my way to achieve the peak of my career.

11. Who are currently the most important people to you?
People i love and care.

12. What kind of person do you think the one who tagged you is?

A person i care for.

But wants to torture me with this quiz. lol. jk jk. she is a person who love friends who like her as much as she loves them. she say herself de. lol.

13. Would you rather be single & rich or married but poor?
I can't tell you that. Its a secret. lalalalala

14. What's the first thing you do every morning?
throw the pillow at whoever who woke me up.

15. Would you give it all in a relationship?
yea..unless its an absurd request. haha.

16. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
the one that loves me more? i cant love two people at one go de la. its not possible. eye candy maybe ba.

17. What type of friends do you like?
people i can get along with, share my wavelength and can go crazy with.

18. What type of friends do you dislike?
those that do not bother to find out the truth about something and go round spreading bad words about others behind the person's back. its disgusting, disturbing and cowardly.

Saturday, June 14, 2008

And so June 9th, 2008 quickly came and past before we know, and i am sitting here in front of my computer, yet again, jobless and bored. This 6 months experience at RBC DEXIA was not only an enriching experience for me, but a affirmation for me that i can fit into the working life and join new cliques and make new friends so long as i try hard enough and sincere enough. If even that doesnt work, they probably dont want to be friends with anyone anyway. and since that group of people will generally belong to the minority, life will still go on pretty much the same pace of excitement.

So! i was thinking, BEFORE i start to rant on about the melancholic stuff about leaving the company, i might as well rant on and on about that Alex i was talking to everyone about. no la..wun rant. but Yup. this is the super gorgeous caucasian i was talking to you about. haha not bad guy...glad to add him to my collection of international friends. =)

On my last day of work, the feeling i had while walking towards my building was a very special one as compared to the anxiety i always experience while dashing through the MRT underground, worried about being late for work. if you think about it, when else will you feel such agitation yet angst in the air except for the 8am hour rush? and when else will you feel such vibrance and life except for the 6pm hour rush? Such probably cant be experienced during, say, on a Sunday morning at Raffles MRT station at 8am, if you know what i mean. Its practically a ghostville. As such, the feeling that rushed over me on the morning of June 9th, 2008, was one of reluctance, nostalgia and appreciation. i took my time to walk past the underground tunnel, closely looking at the angry and annoyed faces casted at other commuters, as everyone expressed through the express lanes to work. a familiar yet hardly appreciated sight. Do not mistaken such scenarios as one you would see at the Great Singapore Sale because the feeling is different. The feeling at the GSS is one of fearless dashes made by aunties and teenagers that i would assume it is almost safe to compare them to 2 ah-sohs making the final dash for the last piece of fish at the fishmonger. The dashes made during the 8am rush hour was due to responsibility for work and fear for their rice bowls. To date, i can proudly proclaim that i have actively participated in both the former and the latter and have indeed emerged more dignified and superior from the latter.

As i finally made my way through the office door of the 28th level, i greeted my usual morning smiles to the receptionist and headed to my department. Nothing was out of the ordinary. Colleagues were still grumpy over their workloads and submitting to their fates while each colleague (the better ones, at least) try to cheer each other up with the nonsense they went through after work the day before.

Turning on my computer as i take out my usual piles of bank statements to solve and figure out, i thought to myself that this will probably be the last time i am handling this disgusting stack. yet, turning to look at the piles and files of bank statements' problems that i have managed to resolve after hours of OT and dashing from one department to the next, i feel a sense of forlorn that ultimately, this was my precious work and it was going to be handled over to another of my colleague - audrey, whom i have no doubt will do a more brilliant job than me. But still, it's my little production of accomplished work. Anw, this is cute lil audrey.

anyways, during lunch, my colleagues all bought me a forever friends bear (can see below) which you can tell i love it so. i felt very touched to be honest because regardless of the gift, at least i know i was appreciated and loved.

i made brownies for everyone! - or at least the people i were close to. ahaha. and as usual, i went round taking pictures with everyone and anyone that was still around at 6pm. as you can tell, i took quite a handful of pictures so can you tell how hardworking, we, the RBC DEXIANS, are? hahaha. not really. hahah. oOpS!

anw, this is my shi-fu who taught me to handle Barclays. She is called Lynn and if i ever mentioned to you before, i am doing the wedding montage for her, yup! this lady is tying the knot in September.

Charmaine has became one of my closest, if not, closest friend/colleague in RBC DEXIA, mainly because she is around my age so we hit off quite well, and that we are both insane creatures. went out quite a number of times with her and shared problems with each other. haha. our boss lay ling calls us the jie-meis cos we are the only two crazy teenagers who dared to wear flip-flops to work and exchanged one flip-flop with each other so that we are wearing two different striking colour flip-flops everywhere we went in the company. anw, we decided to reminsce the days back in our secondary school so we took one formal picture and one candid shot. lol.

Charmaine will be studying in SIM too, although she is under RMIT university, whereas i am under University of London. Although she is taking a part-time course only, it's still comforting to know that someone you know is there with you too, if you know what i mean. =)

This is my boss when she came on a Sunday to pack the office together with all of us. i didnt manage to take a picture with her on my last day because she fell sick. She prolly will kill me if she saw her picture on my blog - esp. this picture which she gave me specific warning over dinner NOT to let anyone see. heeeheee...but on the contrary, i think this picture is a perfect description of my boss to anyone who doesnt know her. she may not feel so but i think this picture shows exactly who she is - genuine, spontaneous, nice, sporting, helpful, modest and a very charming patient young lady. She gave me this gift as a farewell gift during my dinner with her.

didnt take a picture of what i gave her though. its something like a puzzle, that contains a handwritten message i wrote for her, that she has to fix together.

This is me with Chia Hui. also another girl from my department. haha. yup, my department is all girls so its super comfortable. Apparently, she is also a University of London grad so i have a lot of stuff to ask her about, esp regarding my course =)

Anw, these are all the people who are not in my department but i have come to know over these past 6 months. I grouped them according to the respective deparments for my convenience. haha.

The PRICING TEAM.

Me and Tze Hong

Me and Darren - He was introduced to me by Charmaine. he ALWAYS make fun of me de. haha. i think we never said a good word before to each other. haha. Something like Carine and Samuel kinda relationship ba.

The FA TEAM

Me and Lena - can you tell she is 5 months preg? like OMG, i cant la, even when i am standing next to her! and more importantly, can you tell this is her secound one? she looks soooo young lor. Btw, she met her husband in secondary school. is that sweet or what?

Me and Alan

Me and Chris - super nice guy. one of the nicest to me during my first days in RBC too.

Me and Shireen - i like this picture a lot. i think we look like jie-meis. lol. Bet you wudnt think she is already a mother eh?

Me and Jason - He was introduced to me by Charmaine also.

Me and Sharon

The CLIENT SERVICE TEAM

Me and Mandy - Those who has reached to this page, LUCKY YOU! One of the prettiest ladies in our office. This lady is from taiwan but speaks good English. I think she is GORGEOUS. but of course, i know her then i dare to take picture with her la. haha. Cheng, recognise her? keke. you are right, she is pretty.

THE DEALING TEAM

Me and Lilian - actually i wanted to take another picture with another girl called shu juan too!! She is also from this department and oso very pretty de. hehe..more imptly, she helped me a lot in terms of my work. but too bad, she was on MC =(

Anyways, this entry was a very personal and special entry for me. if you guys managed to read up to here, despite the length, thank you for reading what i have to say.

but for now, thats all i have to say anyways! ahaha.

Therefore, toodles!

mood: highly upset

my eyes are sore from crying. my documents and pictures have all been officially deleted by that man. he claims he never seen that folder before when it has been on the desktop since i got this computer.

daddy is nagging at me for not saving a copy of it in the thumbdrive. Question ought to be why didnt he tell me he was sending it for repair before he sent it for repair? i dont wanna argue with him because i am really upset this time. i think he can feel it especially when i am so quiet despite his nagging. its not like me to keep quiet anyways.

4 yrs of hard work in saving up all those pictures and memories, documents and works are all gone down the drain. and the irony of it all is that we paid more than $100 for their service to make me upset.

for those who needs to repair their computers, i cant suggest a good company for you to go to - but i can suggest a bad company for you NOT to go to.
this is the fourth consecutive day i have been on this earth without a job. it definitely feels weird that i am slacking around the house when i have been chiong-ing about work since the start of hols. well, i suppose it means its time to put down something and start something new altogether again. actually, to say that i have been moping about the house for the past few days is not exactly accurate either since i have been waking up at 7 in the morning and coming home around 12 plus for the past few jobless days. In fact, today is the only day i have managed to log on to the computer and snoop about its contents.

Recently, my computer has just received another attack on the virus. and this time, apparently, it was Microsoft Documents. queer rite? out of all the things, it has to be Microsoft and mind you, the Microsoft i am using is the original. so i wonder, is there really a difference using the pirated vers. and the original vers.? afterall, both are as vulnerable to viruses. disgusting. nonetheless, everything is still being stuck to the originals so any officials or authority reading this blog can chill.

as i was restoring all my games bought from Yahoo and PlayFirst back to my computer, i realise that my files are missing. yep. i have 2 folders listed as "autumn's documents" and "my work space" with important documents that i myself cannot emphasise on the importance of them all and they are missing. as i am typing this out, i am feeling extremely annoyed and disturbed by it all. i already called the guy but he said he will get back to me by late afternoon. right now, 2:30pm seems like late afternoon to me already. i am super impatient and anxious and worried. why? cos i am suppose to do a wedding montage for my colleague (for those who arent aware) and the photos are in the above two folders. as well as all my other pictures and documents along with it. please dun ask why didnt i save my stuff into the thumbdrive before i send the computer for fixing k? i didnt even know the CPU was gone till my dad told me so. sianz. and now, my dad's stuff is all in order and mine are ALL GONE! EVERYTHING. i dont see why he can do everything nicely for my dad and not for me.

i hope the words "i accidentally deleted them" do not appear in the conversation later with him. if everything can be solved with the word "accidentally", there wouldnt be a need for the word "negligence". i know i am being mean la. but i am really very anxious now. going out with wing yan later. maybe she can cool me down. yea. good idea.

i want some explanations now. *highly disturbed*
the lady i am doing the wedding montage for, will want some explanations too.

On June 10, 2008, I will be officially jobless. I do not know if that is a good thing or a bad thing I mean, I have been working since the start of my holiday and unlike most, I have managed to get hold of a job that kept me for 6 months - my entire holiday. I still rememberthe first day of work at RBC Dexia. Seriously, I still cannot recall why I was so brave as to take up a job for such a long period of time, without a friend. Things started dreadful as they always do, I suppose, for my case. I had no company for lunch for the first few days and hadto eat alone or not eat at all.
After a few days, people started to get accustomed to seeing me in the office. Occasional nods or smiles would be cast in my direction when walking along the lobby or office and my department started to get closer to me. More work started piling in, harder each time, and more interaction with other departments as well. Amidst of all these mayhem, I even managed to become closer friends with my colleagues like Charmaine. I suppose if I really cannot bear leaving this place, it's because if all the relationships I have formed in this office as well as the experience I have gained from this company. Working in this company, I managed to gain much insights and understanding from the working world, some good, but mostly bad. But ultimately, if you enter the correct firm or department, meet the correct people and be yourself, you will be safe. Or maybe that is just my utopian view of everything.

*blank*

thats all i can describe myself now in one word.

if death could solve all problems.

*blank*

what is a friend? one who you call the instant you feel like dying.

how long does it take to be a good friend? time doesnt really play a part. really. a friendship of 2.5 yrs may not necessary be weaker than a friendship of 9 yrs.

how do you know that you treat her as a friend? you tell her everything you will feel embarassed or disgraceful to mention to others.

how do you know she treats you like one too? when she throws aside what perhaps is important to her to help you.

thanks neetha.

Tuesday, May 13, 2008

It’s May 13, 2008. Trying to write down the date whenever possible since I am having a hard time keeping up with the pace of time. This year has been a very different and somewhat difficult year to pass by. I am not sure how my life will continue to evolve but I hope that it is for the better.

Waiting for acceptance is such a torturous procedure. Whether is it the wait to enter university, or the wait for an unrequited love to be returned, or the wait to enter into the lives of young kids, the wait for acceptance is unbearable. Gosh, even the wait to enter your house, especially when you are most in need of the bathroom is intolerable.

Perhaps the reason why we all hate waiting is because waiting is the one thing that allows your fate to rest in the hands of others. Regardless of how many times others have told you that you are the master of your own fate, the point in time has come when others decide for you how long they want you to wait or suffer.

Sipping at my packet of cold green tea, I thought of the time I was introduced to this packet of drink. I think it was popular in my secondary school days where all you see teenagers drinking is green tea. I never like green tea then despite the hype about it. Yet know, it was an acceptable drink to me. I wonder how difficult the wait for green tea to be accepted by me was. Of course, not that it even cared, right green tea? *looks at the packet of green tea*

Anyway, I took up tuition-ing (like finally!) It’s a Australian International School year one kid and her sister in year three or six, I forgot. Whoever who told me or believes that young boys are a troublesome load to take care of, I will highly encourage you to throw away that notion because it ain’t true. The boy is adorable though it’s the sister that I am having a hard time. Shan’t dwell too much on that. Don’t really know how to express the agony either.

Just a thought that while you think year one students are easy to teach, its actually quite difficult because it boils down to explaining the basic fundamental concepts to them, which ain’t easy. Suppose you teach a Secondary school kid, and she doesn’t get why differentiation of an equation is to find the gradient of the curve, you can show her and tell her why. Now, that being said, try explaining why 9 – 2 = 7 and 10 + 12 = 22. And if you use the working to show them, and the kid tells you that 0 + 2 = 8, how do you explain why its not 8 and 2?

Think you can handle it, then take this challenge. How do you explain that in the number 735, the digit 7 is in the hundred digit and not the million digit? (bearing in mind that you have already taught them how to read the placing of the digits from the ‘ones’ unit to ‘million’ unit.)

Its really not that easy. I thought it was too, until you realize that for that age, they are just learning to conceptualize such stuff and cannot think in ways you expect them to think.

Oh and one more thing, don’t expect them to be hardworking. Bear in mind you weren’t too hardworking at that age either.

*warning* if you do not wish to hear the whining part of the entry, you can choose the option of scrolling down until you see the phrase "anw, for the light hearted matters" in bold red. i have a lot of pictures of the buffet neetha and i went to (for those who love food) and Drama Night '08 exclusive shots! (for drama lovers)

Feeling highly upset with my parents now. i think they do likewise too. i feel like they dont get what i am trying to put across sometimes but yet assumes they understand anyway. oh wells.

The story goes
.
.
.
i got a new tuition assignment and this kid is staying arnd Marsiling area. so while i went for Drama Night today, my parents decided to go to the place to check it out. apparently, they werent too please with it and even gave names of the most hideous kinds. trust me, they were. can ask audrey. and they spend to whole night yelling at me that if i enter that house, i will never come out alive and so on...which to be honest, freaks me out pretty much because of their utmost vivid description. nonetheless, i wasnt prepared to let this assignment go without going for at least the first lesson. i mean, think about it, its not the money or the experience of it all, but rather, its a responsibility that when you promise to do something, you show up. and queerly, this was also a discipline instilled by my parents. yet now, when i reason with them that i cannot cancel the student last minute because of one, the center is going to charge me a admin cost of $20 and two, the family will be waiting for me to come. and i dun think they will be too pleased with a tutor who never showed up. and worst of all, i cannot call the tuition center to cancel because tomorrow is sunday and i dun think the center will be open. and even if they do, the chances of them opening before 8am is highly unlikely. and i am suppose to tutor at 9am. sigh. i know my parents are doing this for my own good la...but i dun think they are considering too much of my reputation regarding the issue of responsibility and the family's feelings. sigh. this is so upsetting. anw, i dunno how i am gonna get through this but i hope i will ba. tml. sigh.

anw, for the light hearted matters
.
.
.
tonight was the finale Drama Night 2008! whee! seriously, i aint saying this because i was the ex-Pres or whatever, but the cast for SYF is really really really strong. A lot of people agreed in unison, including henry who went!! haha. and i cried twice in the show! many also admitted that they were either close to crying or had tears in their eyes. c'mon, if you think its that easy to put up a touching sad show when you aint professional actors and actresses, well, its not. and even now, as i am typing, i think of the last scene, i still feel a tugging feeling at my heart. sigh. its really good. i am glad this is the SYF play. yays. three cheers to Drama Club and good luck =)

took loads of pictures (as i promised in my previous entry) today. The camera started clicking at about 1pm when neetha and i had our buffet lunch in taka. yum yum *pats tummy* took lots of pictures with food here. haha.

wow. there were lots of good food and nice desserts as you can see. i took lots of the japanese food whereas neetha was in charge of bringing a lot of the nice desserts. whee! had a fun time gorging! hahaha.

then we head on down to shop for a while before we met up with the others for the show. ran a few of neetha's errands which prevented me from window shopping more. haha.

anw, arnd 5:45pm, neetha and i met up the rest to go SRT. again, the camera got whipped out before the show, during the show and after the show. so *click* *click* *click* non stop. so fun!

This is nytia and neetha. One is the Vice Pres. of '07 and the other is the Vice Pres. of '06.

oooo...she is one of my juniors acting in the play meant for SYF. She is an absolute amazing, fabulous actress. one of the culprits that made me cry. haha.

and of course, how can i ever pass the chance of taking more pictures with ms kwok and the current Pres.

anw, as i was uploading these pictures, i realised that i have spent the entire day with neetha and yet we two do-do birds have never got a picture together. *claps*

Before my senior (yuan long) fetched me, nytia and neetha from the SRT, i had a chance to snap a few last minute shot of the entire crew and cast while the teachers were giving them the debrief. haha. if you look carefully at the photo, there is actually one guy who posed for me and i didnt know until i got into yuan long's car. haha. the guy is yu hsin, roughly in the center, first row. haha. adorable junior.

after Drama Night, neetha and i went to city hall to have a drink and had a girl to girl talk. y'know what i mean. haha. spent a great day with her though we were both tired and bushed. but i had a great time with her and i hope she did too!! haha. too bad she cant visit my blog. apparently, people who suscribe to Mozillla Firefox cant access my blog. sianz. shud i change blog skin??

anw, hope you guys enjoyed this loooong entry. ahaha.

MANCHESTER UNITED WON!!!!!! YEEESSSSS!!!! WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!! WHEE!!!!!!!
I am so proud of my darling! He scored the 1st equalizer for the team. OMG. I was so worried when he was responsible for scoring the free kick. BUT I am glad he made it. Haha. I have never been so glad to see the word BARCLAYS in my entire life and I bet I will do my recon for BARCLAYS properly with a big huge wide smile on my face tml as well because whenever I see that word, I will think of the beautiful shot cristiano scored for the team. Haha. And to think that it was arsenal’s captain who allowed MY cristiano ronaldo to get the free kick. Haha. Thanks arsenal!!! Hee hee hee..OH! And of course, lets not forget about the other goal scored by Hargreaves. Woots! No...DOUBLE WOOTS! The goalkeeper was fantastic today too although he made one error that caused arsenal to score that one goal. But overall, with so many good saves, I think ferguson ought to give him a bonus. Ahha. And ferdinand was good as usual. Ha..It is needless to say he is good. My number one defender =) aye. It feels wrong to just pin point on any particular man utd player and say they are good cos ALL were fantastic like evra, brown, tevez, giggs, blah blah blah...even the manager and the water boy. Haha. so good job MAN UTD!

But truth be told, I must admit that arsenal is a super fit team. The game was so hot till the last minute and although I am a fervent man utd fan, hats off to arsenal players! *applause* esp to theo walcott *ahem* He was the one that made me so worried whenever he has the ball because I always reckon him as a formidable player, with a great attitude and temper. They practically tire all my man utd players out and they were playing fast game from the very first min right up to the very last 94th second. But I think Song didn’t do too good a job in covering his defense. My dad agrees with me too.

Arsenal got a whole stack of yellow cards from the referee. Six yellow cards to arsenal and two to man utd. I am glad it was only yellow cards though ‘cos as much as I wanted an advantage to man utd, I didn’t think they winning because they was challenging against a 10-man team would be as glorious as a 11-man team. Haha.

My darling didn’t play up to his usual form in this match. Sigh. Even the commentators were commenting on that. BUT (pls la...i just HAVE to stand up for him. Haha!) I just have to admit that even his not-up-to-form standard is waaaaay better than a lot of people on the pitch. Don’t bother trying to talk me out of this one unless you want to ruin our friendship. Ahem! Yes. It’s a threat.

While watching the ‘show’, I saw my second darling aka torres scored for liverpool at the 82nd minute. Haha. double happiness! Liverpool won blackburn 3 vs 1. Good job. Not as happy as manchester united winning though but I know someone is...so...Congrats to my block 101B neighbour GRACE LEE EN HUI! Did you manage to crawl out of bed to watch your team despite the fact that you are sick?? And your lao gong never play ar?? Wanna spend more time with you izit? Haha. so sweet. Awww...haha I am fantasizing for you more than you are fantasizing more for yourself. Ahaha.

Anw, the points are manchester united has 80 points and chelsea is at 74 points and arsenal is 71 points. I believe chelsea will win the match tonight so it will be 77 points for chelsea tml. Yays. I think if chelsea wins, I will be happy oso ba. If manchester wins, I will be a combination of euphoria and excitement. Haha. okie. My dad has very successfully cultivated a strong sense of Man Utd passion in me since birth.

Alrighty, I am gonna sleep now (with a humongous smile on my face). Think I will be going to work early tml to do Barclays. OH! I DON’T LIKE...I JUST LURRVE BARCLAYS! Keke.

Toodles!

LOVE YOU FERDINAND! *hugs*

LOVE YOU EVEN MORE RONALDO! *DOUBLE HUGS*

Haha!

Nights everyone.

*yawns* workload is getting heavier and heavier by the day and i am running to and fro betweem the management office and the current office i am in, more often than ever. sianz...but i suppose it beats having nothing to do or doing the same load every single day.
feeling pretty stressed out recently. seems like i am out trying to solve every other problem of others and none of my own. and when i take a look at my load of problems, its like getting slapped in broad daylight *piack* with those rods that flinstones use to have with them. *ouch* *rubs forehead*
it seems awfully tough to get across to my friends nowadays too. maybe not all. just one. haha. exaggeratingly used the plural of friend for no rhyme or reason. i dun seem to be able to hold out a conversation any longer than 10 mins without feeling a sense of despair at the direction to which the conversation is heading - and the only time i dun get the sense of despair after the 10 mins is because we have a third party with us...or we aint talking at all. i am not trying to be unreasonable or not understanding enough as a friend but sometimes i feel that trying too hard can be a problem too. and probably right now, i am trying to hard to understand someone who probably is not ready to be understood. so instead of feeling like a complete klutz, i should, like in the words of the beatles,
"when i find myself in times of trouble,
mother mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom,
let it be, let it be."
9 days more to go. my bedside calendar has paused at that date exactly one year ago...that is until my maid went to fiddle with the dates. so silly, i dun even know why i am feeling so apprehensive. anyways, i shall be meeting PW group mates this weekend if carine returns as she promised back to singapore on the 9th of april. tried asking her just now over msn but she signed offline and dao-ed me. *wails* haha
i suppose i am quite pleased with the few groups i got myself into in JC. I mean, sure, in a group, there bounds to be those who decides to move on for different reasons but as long as the majority choose to stay, the group is still consider the same group who have gotten together for the same reason. i mean, think about it, which PW group still meets up? haha! then i have my crazy sheena-na group, and my darling LTC group, my lovable dotz clique, my treasured IJ clique..i think that is enough to last me a lifetime.
So this saturday is PW gathering, next saturday is Drama Night and buffet with Neetha (WHEE!!!! loads of pictures to be taken. i promise!) and next sunday is dotz clique outing and i dunno where...somewhere along the next few days...let me check...erm...oh yea! next next week is sheena-na chalet. recently my scattered brain is getting from bad to worse. if i left my schedule book at home, i will feel as if i am left the right side of my brain at home too. ugh.
off to watch CSI now. cya. =)

toodling off

sigh...spend the whole sunday afternoon trying to set up Facebook and Wayn. i realise when you dun have too much internet access time, and suddenly you decided to join in the fun of signing up every other thing, there is a lot of work and catching up to do.
thought of changing my blog skin too. if there is an expiry date to blog skin, mine would have gone from mouldy to decomposed few months ago. i think the status for my blog skin now should be called DECEASED.
sian. oh wells, i got the perfect song for my blog le. just need to find the perfect blog skin to match the perfect song, i guess.
for now, i am back to doing my facebook again. yep yep.

"The bus is travelling to the right ."

When asked, "Why do you think the bus is travelling to the right ?"

They answered: "Because you can't see the door to get on the bus."

get it?

if the bus is travelling to the left, you would be able to see the door.

anw, for those of you who sms me the ans, hope you are happy that you got it right for the wrong reasons. haha.

this is just some LTC outing photos we had on saturday, march 22nd
eunice organised an LTC outing last saturday for a dinner plus movie outing. there, we went to watch my much-awaited STEP UP 2!!! whee...it was a really nice show la though i dun understand why (and HOW?!) did chin ping manage to fall asleep when the song by Flo Rida - Low was so loud in the cinema and i was talking to her half the time during the show cos the movements were just so cool!! haha. the last part felt a little like a korean mv though cos there was this korean guy dancing in the rain..didnt know why i got that feeling..i suppose many of my friends didnt get why i had that feeling either! haha.
anw, after the show, we went to eat at a jap restaurant in the same building as The Cathay there. had loads of fun talking and yakking and gossiping and as usual, me trying to confuse lynette with whatever i said. anw, lynette says everything that is said that night will be kept between the 7 of us so its sacred i guess? haha. so SshHH! cant tell anyone. haha.
anw, we took plenty of pictures that night. here are some of them. the rest is still with lewis i guess. cant believe i forgot to bring my camera. more importantly, cant believe my LTC group is still going strong! whee!!
lynette, me, eunice and chin ping!
haha...we actually took these two shots in the toilet!! haha...dunno how long the boys waited for us outside the washroom. oOps!
took this after dinner at some jap restaurant (below) that eunice ordered a whole truckload of food to share with me! haha. gorging fiesta!
Picture of the Night...i LuuRRRVVEEE this picture!

i am so worned out by this university application thing la. i mean, yea, i really do hope i will get accepted into the university of my choice and into the course i want to go...as in i really really hope to but i have been trying to fill in the application forms for all of the 3 universities since dunno-when and till date, i have not successfully applied for a SINGLE UNIVERSITY in the WORLD! ARGH! and as you can tell, i am going insane. yep. going mad..mad till the extent that she actually smsed her boss at 11:38pm to complain how stress she was. and her boss actually comforted her. well done.
anyway, i took a day's leave tml to settle ALL that i haven't settled, signed up for ALL that i want to sign up and do ALL the things i want to do. in fact, i think 1 day is not enough. not unless i skip breakfast, lunch, dinner plus sleep. yes. i am not exaggerating. that is the amount of workload i have to do. but if 1 day isnt enough for me, and i take more than 1 day off work, i will be going back to my office with two days of undone work and that will be ALOT to do as well! plus i realised that i havent received my referral from my company yet! and i said i will need it by wednesday. so rightly speaking they should give it to me today or tml (when i am on leave).
this entry is like a dumping ground for me to vomit all my random thoughts that is causing me a headache the entire night and i think i have to come up with a check list in order to ensure that i do everything complete by tml plus breakfast, lunch, dinner and sleep.

Something distressing occurred recently. Talking about it makes me sufficiently disturbed and irritated. YOU! I HATE YOU! ARGH!!!!! I want you out of my life, my sight and most of all, MY FACE!!!! ARGGGHHHH!!!
STUPID IDIOTIC PIMPLES!!!!!!!! *screams* *wails*
And of all times you had to grow, you must grow during my office hours, while I am merrily working away..okay. Maybe not so merry. Haha. Ugh. Pimples pimples pimples. Two big ones congregating at the right side of my cheek and one more hiding behind my fringe. Yuck yuck yuck. I wont be surprise if my friends start commenting on it when I meet them later.

Brainstorming for Reasons for Pimples
- eating too much chocolates (c'mon la...if I don't eat, I will be writing reasons for stress instead. When I am stress, I binge. So let it be..let it be)
- okay. So in conclusion from the previous point, one of the reasons is because I am stressed.
- eating too much hello panda biscuits. More 6 packets in 2 days (no comments/ same as the above)
- touching keyboards then touching face (a very bad habit of mine :( but then again, who doesn't?)
- drinking insufficient fluids (hmmm, I've been drinking more lately le. Never mind, shall walk to the pantry more often then. there is a rather cute colleage there after all. actually there is two.)
- late night sleep (hmmm..fine fine. *grudgingly admits* 5am is really a little too late.)
- never wash off make up cleanly (I don't think so!)

In Conclusion, Reasons are ...
I am eating too much chocolates and hello panda-s. Basically, I am eating more than usual lately and its not just limited to the chocolates and hello panda-s. But I suppose these two snacks would be sufficient to cause havoc on my face. However, the realy underlying reason behind this gorging fiesta is due to the stress-es in my life recently.
Keyboards are known to be more deadly in terms of germs than a toilet bowl hence its ironical that the thought of touching a toilet bowl and then touching my face makes me squirm but the thought of touching the keyboard and subsequently touching my face doesn't make me cringe - at all. But nonetheless, I shall make an effort to stop touching my face unneccessarily. *touch face* STOP IT! *touch face again*
I slept at 6pm in the evening on Saturday night when most of the world are partying the night away and woke up at 8am the next day. Been sleeping early recently so keep up the good habit I guess. So it can't be sleeping late since the pimple only popped up today. Ugh. But time seems so little and life seems so fruitless when you work 3/4 of the day away and spend the next 1/4 doing nothing but sleep.
I do the necessary for removing make-up. I shall not dwell further on that. Haha.
And lastly, I thought of the most important and hence, valid reason forthe popping up of pimples. I have not exercised since the week before this chinese new year.
