Oh look, she thought silently to herself as she gazed into the suburb's clear blue mid-day sky.

It started with a speck at first, then a drop of white paint admist the vast ocean blue, gradually diffusing its way through unevenly till it was sufficiently visible from afar.

She had been staring at it for hours, curious at its familiarity at first, which subsequently evolved into a sheer determination to see it arrive eventually.

Had there been wind... She halted her train of thoughts abruptly, subconsciously weighing the consequence of the wish. The introduction of another element would be too risky - her whole goal for the afternoon would have been thwart had the wind gone in the opposite direction. No, it's probably more worth it that way, she sighed, deciding against her wish.

The sun continued to blast its unfeeling rays mockingly at her, perhaps scoffing at her over-ly strong willpower to withstand against all odds to experience something which may not come her way at all...

A little note:
hmmm, wrote this around two nights ago. i know i really shouldn't be spending time writing such stuff, with more important itineraries on the list but well, that feeling is hard to come by and perhaps, even more difficult to go away. so from 10pm to 1030pm, i penned those thoughts down.
anyway, i hope you (whoever you are) like this em...very-abstract abstract. hahha. i seldom transfer my written pieces, such as this one, onto my blog but i really like this one. hahah. sounds meaningful (which they rarely are). hope you were able to tell that this paragraph is not really just simply about a girl watching a patch of clouds to reach her. No....that would be over-simplifying what i spent time to think and write about. hahha.

vanessa.
