yays. my trip to Korea has been finalised. will be leaving on the 21st till 28th june with grace and her mummy, my mummy and my mummy's friend. yeap. a whole lot of aunties as you can see, which is good for grace and i for obvious reasons - FREEDOM! ahhaha apparently, we are still waiting for one more aunty to confirm from grace's side. not complaining if she wants to come - MORE FREEDOM. hahahah cos everyone will be too busy chatting away with their friends and let grace and i do more of what we want. hahahaha and we may even get to share a room too since obviously they will prolly choose their friends over us. hahaha. sounds sad but i dunno why i am laughing, delighted with the mere thought of it...ooo cos i would rather share a room with grace too!! oOpS! hahaha but i think chances of us sharing a room tgt is quite slim cos acc to grace, there is a low probability that the aunty on her side will not want to go.
oh wells. =.= that hasnt really gotten me worried as much as the swine flu issue. i really hope this trip doesnt get cancelled and Korea will take extra precautions that they dun shut down their airport or rather, ANY part of their country. What a spirit dampening thing it will be if our trip gets cancelled thanks to swine flu. :/
went to highlight my hair again. wanted to do the blue and green streaks today but the salon lady was saying abt requiring a darker hair base to do so - meaning i have to dye my hair darker cos my hair base is too light. so i went against the idea and went back to my original highlights - red and brown. boring i know but at least i dont look out of the norm.
gg for my first production meeting after exams. haven gone to one for like eons. everyone has been putting it off cos of exams and its time to get back on track...AND WE DUN HAVE TIME. was talking to my director the other day during NYJC's Drama Night 2009 and she was mentioning something abt "...highly advisable NOT to do a musical for non-professionals due to the high stakes and work involved".
*gulps*
we are doing musical....
ugh.
uh feeling so lazy to shift out of the chair to get ready for the meeting. sigh...k k. its only a matter of time i shift myself out of the armchair. will get ready then complain. at least i dun need to rush. lol.
gg to get ready now! cya.

Oh look, she thought silently to herself as she gazed into the suburb's clear blue mid-day sky.
It started with a speck at first, then a drop of white paint admist the vast ocean blue, gradually diffusing its way through unevenly till it was sufficiently visible from afar.
She had been staring at it for hours, curious at its familiarity at first, which subsequently evolved into a sheer determination to see it arrive eventually.
Had there been wind... She halted her train of thoughts abruptly, subconsciously weighing the consequence of the wish. The introduction of another element would be too risky - her whole goal for the afternoon would have been thwart had the wind gone in the opposite direction. No, it's probably more worth it that way, she sighed, deciding against her wish.
The sun continued to blast its unfeeling rays mockingly at her, perhaps scoffing at her over-ly strong willpower to withstand against all odds to experience something which may not come her way at all...
A little note:
hmmm, wrote this around two nights ago. i know i really shouldn't be spending time writing such stuff, with more important itineraries on the list but well, that feeling is hard to come by and perhaps, even more difficult to go away. so from 10pm to 1030pm, i penned those thoughts down.
anyway, i hope you (whoever you are) like this em...very-abstract abstract. hahha. i seldom transfer my written pieces, such as this one, onto my blog but i really like this one. hahah. sounds meaningful (which they rarely are). hope you were able to tell that this paragraph is not really just simply about a girl watching a patch of clouds to reach her. No....that would be over-simplifying what i spent time to think and write about. hahha.
vanessa.
